I purchased this to supplement the very limited counter space in my kitchen - I fold and store this cart in my pantry and use it as needed. I have used it for my heavy duty mixer (lots of work space even with mixer on top!) and as a drinks station when I entertained. It is very sturdy/stable for appliance use, looks great and the counter height is perfect.The casters lock and are high quality. The butcher block top makes the cart top heavy when folded so I lean it against the pantry wall when storing it. If you don't need to store it most of the time or can have it slightly expanded when storing it, you won't have this condition. I'm very pleased with the price, quality and design. It is a highly functional cart. My motto is to go ahead and get the right product the first time - yes, this is more expensive than some, but it can stand in as a permanent workspace, has wonderful design and stores away when not needed.
