After an extensive search, I chose the Shannon Kitchen Island. I love the chunky legs, the second reason I picked this piece, size being the first. I have replaced the wood top with quartzite to complement my countertops and the piece looks like a million dollars. A suggestion to the manufacturer would be to enlarge the drawer. There is plenty of wasted space within the frame so use it!The description states: "Self contained leveling device installed in the vanity feet for ease in leveling the cabinet on uneven floors".My island has tiny plastic dots on the bottom of each leg. They are not self contained, nor will they level the unit. I'm thinking someone put the wrong information in the description since this isn't a vanity.The wood top has a nice routed edge that does not show up in the picture. The entire top is not 1.75" thick. There is a 4"+ strip around the bottom edge that makes the top appear to be thick all the way through. It is not. Nor is the wood set up as end grain. If you plan on using this as a cutting board, I would buy another board to put on top, specifically for cutting.In spite of my criticisms, I really love this piece. It is perfect for my small area!
