I have assembled all kinds of furniture with no problems, from IKEA computer desks, to dining rooms tables, to upholstered chairs and vanity tables. But this one has me stumped. I'm fairly certain it's defective. I'd call Home Styles for help, but the first customer service number belonged to a deaf person who doesn't work for the company and the second number just got me to a recording that says "not in service". So I'm stuck with a big pile of junk in my living room, and I literally can't get past step 1 (insert cam lock screws into predrilled holes which don't exist).To make matters worse, apparently Home Styles won't take it back, so I now have to pay $30 to the dump since Seattle won't accept this as curbside garbage. This couldn't have possibly have been a worse furniture buying experience.Oh, and they want to send me a replacement. Because they are so sure the next one won't have the same problem. Even if it doesn't, the instructions are also the worst I've ever seen, so I wouldn't touch this buffet with a 10-foot pole. The wood is nice, the paint job is good, but it just wouldn't be worth it to me, I'm guessing many hours of painful assembly even if everything is correct. Sigh.

It's not high end by any means, as reflected in the price, but it looks nice and does the job. It took a bit of time to get set up correctly, but once it was done, we were happy. It's real wood (I hate particle board), but the quality control for some of the pieces wasn't that great. Either way, it's 'OK', and about what we expected after reading other reviews, and not being able to see it in parson.

I ordered this for a bathroom that needed cabinetry. It works perfectly in there and looks great with the claw-foot tub. The only thing I wasn't totally pleased with was the drawers hit each other if you open them at the same time. No big deal though.
